ABOUT THIS STUDY

The research team behind Show Me PAD developed this website and other materials to help educate people diagnosed with peripheral artery disease (PAD) who experience mild to severe claudication (pain in the legs while walking) about the treatment options available.

The goal of our work is to make information about peripheral artery disease (PAD) more available for patients. Informed patients can engage in shared decision making about their treatment options with their providers.

We took a patient-centered approach to our research. To do this, we conducted focus groups, analyzed patient data, worked with providers, and most importantly, talked with patients.
